​I have lived in Gurnee, Illinois for over 30 years. I have two beautiful adult children. My husband of 35 years is John Underwood. I have taught for over 30 years in Chicago, Gurnee, Grayslake and presently in Waukegan. I attended Northeastern University in Chicago and majored in Business Administration. Later, I received my teaching credentials at the Montessori Teachers Academy. I have continued to hone my skills in various methods of teaching children from infancy to third grade.
