​I am a retired band director/music teacher and a longtime CLE volunteer. I enjoy leading drum circles with CLE students, leading Waste-less Wednesday initiatives (which challenged students to divert waste otherwise headed to landfills), and planning and teaching outdoor skills and nature-themed team building during nature hikes. In my free time, I play flute with the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra, tend to my native plant garden in Riverwoods, which sits on a half-acre of woods, foster kittens for Orphans of the Storm, and play pickleball 2-3 times per week!
