In Loving Memory of Linda Wiens, CLE Board President:

We are deeply saddened to share that our Board President, Linda Wiens, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 10 from a stroke. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final moments. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 18, from 1–3 PM at the Libertyville Civic Center and via Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86882744082?pwd=CSpTSHybxTuu23Kin8MpCmaccNmvaI.#success)

In her final act of generosity, Linda donated her body to Loyola Medical Center, where she received a heart transplant nearly 15 years ago. Her obituary will be posted on Legacy.com through Kristan Funeral Home in Mundelein.

Linda's long time commitment of CLE and legacy - she was passionate about conservation and the environment. She strongly believed in the power of nature-centered learning for children and the development of future stewards of the environment.

We will miss her greatly and are grateful for her life, leadership, and love. She will be deeply missed...
