Watching students incorporate their learning when immersed in nature is highly gratifying, and it keeps bringing me back so I can contribute by including current issues that reflect our commitment to the environment and conservation issues in Waukegan, its vicinity, and the world through our practices. I feel invigorated by the fresh air when going for walks and bike rides in the area, especially near ponds and lakes. I enjoy participating in community gardening and creative writing.
